Paris 1965.

One day I had an appointment in Paris and I was waiting at the Café de la Paix. It was a rainy day, I was sitting outside observing as people rushed by in their soaking wet clothes, with uncomfortable umbrellas in their hands.

I noticed a woman with two children passing by: the two children were wearing red nylon clothes, something original that I had never seen before. I picked up my notebook and wrote down: red nylon clothes. Then in the course of time I thought about it again, searched through my notes and told myself I had to do something about it.
