Welcome! I am the curator of the exhibition. Together with Nova Express magazine, I’ve had the pleasure of developing In Your Life, a creative project celebrating K-Way’s 60th anniversary — and yes, K-Way has officially landed in the UK. This is a rich, multi-layered project: a journey of artworks, design icons and brands stories travelling from Milan to London and on to Paris, featuring a number of new commissions — no fewer than eight! Created especially for the London chapter of this beautiful story.

But first, let me tell you a bit of a story.

It’s estimated that over two billion photographs are taken every single day using smartphones. And every day, billions of people wake up wondering: will it rain, or will the sun be shining?

For its 60th birthday, K-Way — the ultimate rain jacket — arrives in the city that has turned rain into a symbol of beauty, poetry, and identity. In Your Life is, at its heart, a cultural reflection on the hidden poetry of the everyday.

The London edition focuses on two essential elements of that poetry — both rooted in ordinary life: our relationship with the weather, and our relationship with the visual language of photography.

Let me guide you through it.

Beside them are five further works, commissioned especially for this project. Titled Dancers on a Rooftop, they were created atop the City Academy dance school in London. These photographs celebrate bodies in motion — vibrant, expressive, alive — observed through Pannack’s distinctive lens, which combines documentary realism with a touch of the poetic.
